FutureEverything is pleased to announce the establishment of The FutureEverything Award.
The FutureEverything Award recognises outstanding achievement for innovation in the arts, music, society and technology. It celebrates creative projects in any medium which offer a new and unique way to experience or see the world and help to bring the future into the present.
Inviting submissions and nominations for the FutureEverything Art Award 2010.
Submissions may be in any medium. Open to anyone internationally to nominate a project or to submit their own project. Eligible projects must have been realised within 15 months of the submissions deadline.

The winners receive the new FutureEverything Trophy, a cash prize, and the opportunity to present their project at the FutureEverything festival and within the FutureEverything catalogue and website. The FutureEverything festival will present the winners, either within the conference or the exhibition, in the form of a talk, project documentation or full project presentation, at the discretion of FutureEverything.
The award promotes world class innovation and introduces the leading practitioners to stakeholders and the wider public, helping to promote and foster innovation culture in the UK and around the world.
The Award is presented at an Awards Ceremony - a Gala event staged during the FutureEverything festival, also featuring presentations of the winner and runners up, and a world class curated programme of performance and presentations.
The inaugural FutureEverything festival (formerly Futuresonic, est. 1995) takes place 12-15 May 2010 in Manchester England. Attended by 75,000 people, the festival features world premieres of astonishing artworks, an explosive city-wide music programme, and visionary thinkers from around the world.
Submissions may be in any medium. Open to anyone internationally to nominate a project or to submit their own project. Eligible projects must have been realised within 15 months of the submissions deadline.
In the first instance submissions should include the following on one side of A4:
• Name of nominee
• Title of project
• Date
• Media
• Dimensions or duration (as appropriate)
• Location
• Project outline (max. 200 words)
• URL
• You may also include one item of supporting material e.g.
Video documentation, text, image or other media.
The prize is awarded following a rigorous and transparent assessment process.
